A Kingdom Advertisementn
_“And I thought to advertise thee [speak about a matter of the kingdom to thee], saying, Buy it before the inhabitants [invest in it], and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it [if you judge it worthy of investment], redeem it... for there is none to redeem it beside thee [as a fellow Kingdom Citizen].” — Ruth 4:4*
A few hours ago, I received an unexpected call from an unknown number. When I answered, the caller greeted me in Yoruba, asking, "Are you the preacher who just spoke on the radio?"
With a humble heart, I replied, "Yes, sir, by the grace of God."
He then introduced himself, saying, "I am an Alfa from Iragbiji land in Kwara State—the kind of Alfa who wears the heavy turban." He explained that he had been listening to my broadcast inside the Arabic school where he teaches, and had instructed his students to write down the contact number provided at the end of the program.
With deep earnestness, he urged me, "Please, do not stop preaching the genuine Word of God to us, because authentic Christian preachers like you are rare in Nigeria." Before hanging up, he asked me to pray for him.
While receiving calls after our weekly Gospel Radio Broadcast is a regular occurrence, this particular call stirred a profound sense of awe and excitement within my spirit. Men of his background are traditionally very difficult to reach due to the high religious barriers surrounding them. Yet, strategic Gospel labors like WAKATI IGBALA—our weekly Radio Gospel Broadcast—effortlessly pierce through those walls, delivering the life-saving message of Jesus Christ where traditional methods cannot go. Truly, only eternity will fully reveal the massive impact of such purposeful labor!
Dear Fellow Kingdom Citizen, it is our burning vision and relentless passion to utilize this powerful radio platform to broadcast the Gospel to as many souls as possible, especially those who remain otherwise unreachable.
I warmly invite you to partner with us in this Mission To Save Mandate as we walk hand in hand with Jesus in His divine mission to rescue the lost through the unapologetic, life-transforming preaching of the Gospel.
A Prayer of Blessing for You
As you prayerfully consider standing with this vision, may the Lord God of heaven open the windows of heaven over your life.
