IT’S NOT NORMAL OR NATURAL. IT IS SIN!
“…for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another…” Romans 1:26-27
Today’s society tried to convince us that homosexual relationships are normal. They affirm that if anyone has homosexual desires, they should give in their natural instincts.
Our culture today isn’t so different from the one Paul describes in Romans 1. God’s message continues to be spoken, but many people give the truth about God for a lie, and worship God’s creation instead of worshipping Him.
God created man and woman, male and female, to live in a heterosexual relationship. That’s what He considers normal and natural. The text in Romans leaves no doubt that homosexual is sin. So are other sexual perversions. Paul says that these people know how God feels about their lifestyles, “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:32).
THE WORST ATTITUDE A HUMAN BEING CAN HAVE IS TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD AND DELIBERATELY GO AGAINST IT. The one who knows the commandments of the Lord, but prefers to continue sinning and even defends that position, will face God’s wrath.
If you are a Christian and you have homosexual tendencies, fight against those desires. First, seek the help of the Lord in prayer. Ask Jim to free you. Ask Jim to lead you to a qualified Christian professional or to a sensitive brother or sister in Christ whole is trustworthy and wise. Don’t let the world’s philosophy convince you that it’s all right to give in to sin. Trust in God’s forgiveness and in the strength that only Him can give. YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS YOU!
